Danielle (and new lighting kit)
Went out today with Danielle, a new model. The purpose was really to test out the lighting kit I recently got my hands on.
The night was pouring, all week had great weather till decide to shoot then torrential rain. Need to get my head round the kit some more, but here are a few frames.
Dancers.
Recently shot 4 dancers who were looking for some portfolio images for their dance course. There has been such a massive following and amount of support from Facebook that I am looking at offering these shoots as part of normal service.
Below are a few frames from the session.
Introducing…..PLATINUM
So a few weeks ago now, I was shooting with a new dance troupe. The images have been kept under wrap, but I can now show the image which will form part of their advertising.
Carol
Sunday was a busy day – there was headshots for Louise in the morning and a little playtime doing some other work with Carol in the afternoon.
Below are a couple of headshots of Carol from the shoot – Makeup by James Clark.
Headshot session with Louise
Louise was looking for some headshots for the her spot in the programme of her Degree Showcase.
Below are a few samples. Headshot packages will be getting revamped soon, watch here for details.
Popinjay Hotel – Wedding Fayre
Below is a (very downsized) version of the video shot at the Popinjay Hotel last Sunday. This video was the second of three catwalk shows ran on the day.
June’s Bridal at the Popinjay Wedding Fayre
Went along to photograph a fashion show at the Popinjay Hotel, the exhibitor was June at June’s Bridal wear (a new shop in Pather)
3 models, a total of 6 dresses – a mix of Prom, Bridal and Bridesmaid dresses. Only a small selection are here, the rest are still being worked on (as well as the video of one of the catwalk shows)
Those of you with a keen eye may recognise Carol – from previous photoshoots
Jade – couple more…
I am loaded with the Cold right now, so did some work on a couple of Jade’s images. The colour image was exactly what I wanted to achieve with lighting alone, alas, I failed and had to resort to Post Processing.
Jade – Headshots
Since I haven’t shot in a while, decided to do some headshots with the lovely Jade. Makeup (and general assistance) was provided by James Clark (http://www.jamescmakeup.co/)
The first set of photos were more “natural” (although I couldn’t help play with a few in Photoshop) and the others were more dramatic. The dramatic ones need something more, so will need to try that again.
Fife Seascapes
Thought I’d try my hand at landscapes. Started planning out a couple of locations, but decided this morning to just go. Ended up near Dalgety Bay in Fife. Even though some of these look warm, it was freezing up there!
